John Ray Bianchi, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
LICENSED CHIROPRACTOR IN HIGHLAND PARK, LOS ANGELES
Meet Dr. B
Old-school, hands-on chiropractic built on a thorough exam and real listening.
Drug-free, no guesswork. Caring for the whole family, from infants to patients in their 100th year.
Meet Dr. B Dr. John Ray Bianchi has been caring for patients in Los Angeles since 2000, but his path to chiropractic started on the sidelines.
A San Francisco native, he worked as an X-ray technician and coached high school football and track, and as a former Olympic-style weightlifter who trained under a U.S. Olympic weightlifting coach, he coached weightlifting too. Watching too many young athletes get hurt with nowhere to turn, he knew there had to be more that could be done. That question led him to Life University in Marietta, Georgia, then the country’s largest chiropractic college, where he trained in a wide range of adjusting techniques.
Today he practices what he calls old-school chiropractic: no gimmicks, no shortcuts, and never an adjustment without a full exam first. Every new patient starts with a conversation about their whole story, from old sports injuries and car accidents to work habits and lifestyle, followed by a complete physical, orthopedic, and chiropractic exam. Only then does Dr. B build a plan.
For years, Dr. B scaled back his practice to put family first, making lunches, doing school runs, and raising his daughter and son. Now, with his kids grown, he’s back in practice full force at his office on York Boulevard in Highland Park, caring for patients of every age, from newborns to centenarians.
“A wise man ought to realize that health is his most valuable possession.” - Hippocrates

Typical visits: 2 to 3 a week.
After a car accident or severe injury, possibly daily for the first 2 to 3 weeks.
PHASE 2
Rehabilitative CareGoal: correct the problem, not just the pain. Muscles, ligaments and tendons have memory, like teeth shifting back after braces. This phase supports fuller healing and better movement. Typical visits: 1 to 2 a week, at least 4 a month.
PHASE 3
Wellness CareGoal: protect your progress. Consistent, preventive adjustments that help your body handle the stresses of daily life and function at its best. Typical visits: whatever interval suits you and your lifestyle.

Dancing feels best when your body moves freely, so Dr. Bianchi was on site offering complimentary spinal assessments and advice to help guests move more comfortably.
